Performance Pathway · Friday Evenings
For Tier 1 or Surrey Early Engagement Programme (EEP) players, and players close to or aspiring towards that standard. Open to players from any club. Purposeful technical work and match scenarios develop scoring options, bowling plans, tactical awareness and independent decision-making.
Your development, in writing.
Included for every Performance Pathway player: a structured written review emailed to players and/or parents midway through the term, followed by an end-of-term review.
Each concise assessment covers batting, bowling, game awareness and mental preparation, with two or three personalised development priorities to guide the next stage of progress.
Video analysis will be used from time to time to support coaching and individual feedback; it is not included in every session.
More than coaching. Experience in the middle.
Every Performance Pathway player will receive additional match play through our CAPP U11 and U13 teams in the Surrey Indoor Cricket League or through CAPP inter-club indoor matches.
Put coaching into practice: make decisions under pressure, develop tactical awareness and learn how to contribute to a team.

Prepare for your session
Which programme is right for my player?
Sunday softball is for U8/U9/U10 players preparing to move towards hardball. Sunday hardball is for U9/U10 players already playing hardball. The Friday pathway is for Tier 1, Surrey Early Engagement Programme (EEP) and players close to or aspiring towards those standards. Ask us if you are unsure.
What should players bring?
Bring a drink, comfortable sports clothing and clean indoor trainers. Hardball players should bring their own correctly fitting helmet, bat, batting pads, gloves and abdominal guard; a thigh pad is recommended. Contact the coaching team before booking if equipment is a concern.
Drop-off and collection at Notre Dame
The sports hall has no spectator gallery. Please drop off and collect players at the hall entrance, where the coaching team takes the register. Parents and siblings should remain outside the playing area during hardball sessions.
Individual development
Coaching combines technical practice with decisions in game situations. U10/U11 pathway players work on strong technical foundations; U12/U13 players apply and refine their skills for more consistent match performance. Speak to the team about your player’s goals and the feedback or analysis appropriate to their needs.
Changes, cancellations or a concern?
See our cancellation policy below. For a booking change, welfare concern or question about your player, contact the coaching team directly. Do not include sensitive medical details in the general enquiry form.
